Dr. Mohana G. Ramappa | MS DVM

Dr. Ramappa, after graduating with his Veterinary Medicine degree in 1991, worked in various capacities in animal health industry including small animal private practice, shelter medicine and pharmaceutical sales and technical services.

Dr. Ramappa has great interest in Internal Medicine, Shelter Medicine, Preventive and Wellness care. He enjoys working with companion pets. Dr. Ramappa also enjoys performing soft tissue surgeries and dental. His main goal is to provide compassionate care for all and to improve the quality of life by utilizing available technology and need based approach. 

Before becoming a practice owner Dr. Ramappa worked in small animal private practices and shelter. He worked at Maryland SPCA for 6 years and has done some relief work in and around Baltimore.

Dr. Ramappa lives in Ellicott City, MD with his wife, son and two cats. In his free time he enjoys spending time with his son, working in the garden, playing baseball and bike riding at the park. He enjoys bike riding, walking and vacationing at the beach.
